Using a tracker for hand review multiplies your efficiency. This 3-filter method isolates your biggest leaks quickly.
Filter #1: Biggest Losing Positions
Sort your results by position. Identify which positions lose the most money. Common leak: SB and BB are often the biggest losers — but by how much?
Filter #2: River Call/Fold Spots
Filter for hands where you called a river bet and lost. These are often the most expensive leaks — bad river calls add up fast.
Filter #3: Missed Value Bets
Filter for hands where you checked the river with a winning hand. How much value did you leave on the table?
The Review Process
Run each filter. Pick the top 3-5 hands. Analyze them using the hand review method. Formulate adjustments.
How Often to Do This
Weekly is ideal. Monthly is the minimum. Quarterly reviews track long-term progress.
